Restorations and Tributes
The restoration of vintage sleds continues
to grow in popularity. This page provides a look at those who have chosen
to restore their sleds in the likeness of the Widow Makers racing
iron. We're honored to present those builders here and provide the well
deserved recognition they have earned.

1971 800cc 4 cylinder King Kat
Pictured at the 3rd Annual Great
Eastern Whiteout, Everet Regal, age 71, sits atop a pristine
King Kat with his life time achievement plaque presented at the show. Also
pictured is Andy Avelis of Newbury, MA who was gracious enough to
invite Everet to take the beast for a drive around the race track and pit
area. Along with this four-banger, Andy owns one of the most impressive
collections of vintage Cats, you'll ever see. About 40 to date, with each
at the top of perfection!
